Physical and Pool Therapy for Dogs: Restoring Mobility and Enhancing Well-being
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, dolor consectetur adipiscing elit.
A physiotherapy consultation for your Pet can be beneficial for various reasons, especially if your furry one is experiencing musculoskeletal issues, mobility problems, or recovering from surgery or injury. Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy, focuses on improving the pet's physical function, mobility, and overall well-being through non-invasive therapeutic techniques. Here are some reasons why a physiotherapy consultation can be helpful for pets:
It is important to note that physiotherapy for pets should only be performed by a qualified and experienced veterinary physiotherapist. The physiotherapist will work closely with the pet's primary veterinarian to create a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your pet's specific needs and health condition. Regular physiotherapy sessions and ongoing monitoring can help ensure the best possible outcomes for the pet's physical health and well-being.ย

In our Physiotherapy (Physical and Pool Therapy) service for dogs, we provide a comprehensive range of treatments and techniques tailored to address your dog's specific needs. The service includes:

Physiotherapy can benefit a wide range of dogs, from puppies to senior dogs, and those with various musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. However, the suitability of physiotherapy depends on the individual dog's condition, overall health, and specific needs. A certified veterinary physiotherapist will assess your dog and determine if physiotherapy is appropriate.
The number of physiotherapy sessions required for your dog depends on several factors, including the nature and severity of their condition, their response to treatment, and individual progress. A veterinary physiotherapist will create a customized treatment plan and provide recommendations on the frequency and duration of sessions based on your dog's needs.
Pool therapy can be beneficial even for dogs who may initially be apprehensive about water. Our experienced therapists are trained to create a calm and supportive environment, gradually introducing dogs to the pool and helping them feel comfortable. With positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement, many dogs come to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of pool therapy.
Physiotherapy is often used as a complementary treatment to surgery or medication, rather than a replacement. It can play a crucial role in the pre-operative preparation, post-operative recovery, and ongoing management of certain conditions. A veterinary physiotherapist will work collaboratively with your dog's veterinarian to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that may involve a combination of therapies to achieve the best outcomes.

Highly recommend ๐ Where do I begin with this review - there is too many great things to say!
Visited for vaccinations but seeing all the available services, lab, boarding physio, massive swimming pool and play training areas gave me a sure feeling that I will be back to visit.
This place is the best! They are so friendly, and they truly love your dog! They pay attention to all of the important details. Gabriel Richard did a wonderful job taking care of my dog, he is such a great handler and trainer. I will surely recommend pet pavilion to others. Thank you so much for keeping floki safe and happy!
Took my little fur baby for her first swim at Pet Pavilion. It started with a minir issue due to a gap in communication, which was resolved very quickly and professionally. Dr. Atiq was fantastic and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. Natasha, the physiotherapist, was an absolute gem! She was extremely patient, loving, and ensured my fur baby felt safe and comfortable in the water. Thank you! We appreciate it and because of this we will be coming back!
